OLS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Ooh Lala Styling (Hereafter OLS)
- all booking communications, quotes etc are provided via email only phone consultations are not available
Photographs & Videos
- All photos and videos taken of styling in homes & venues remain the intellectual property of Ooh Lala styling and may be showcased on multiple social media streams for marketing purposes. Upon booking you are agreeing to exclusive use of this material by Ooh Lala styling unless otherwise requested prior to settling your invoice.
Financial info for payment plans
OLS time payments : $100 non refundable retainer payment is required to secure booking date.
*deposit amount can be paid using afterpay if required
Weekly payments after non refundable deposit are required minimum amount $75
If you miss a weekly payment we will charge an additional $25 late fee for each payment that has not been made this fee is not deducted from your remaining balance . Please ensure your payments are kept up to date , more then 2 consecutive missed payments/inconsistent weekly payments will result in cancellation being considered
Please pay on time to allow us to prepare for your event in a timely manner
Full payment is required 14 days prior to event date - you may afterpay any remaining balances if required during your payment plan , all clients utilising a payment plan will not be eligible for package / prop changes and or credit should you wish to change your mind after the retainer and any other payments are made eg “I’ve made the first few weeks payments but stop paying , then the balance owing is due but you request we utilise the amount paid to change to other items to that value “ your booking will be cancelled as outlined in our refund policies section.
ALL BOOKINGS ARE ONLY RESERVED WITH PAYMENT IF A PAYMENT PLAN IS NOT UTILISED FULL PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF ENQUIRY IS REQUIRED • 14 days prior condition applies to full payment , afterpay and payment plan clients
As agreed upon when making the booking no monetary refunds will be issued in light of the Covid 19 & or any form of government nationwide lock down related situations , Eligible bookings are offered the option of postponing to a later date or credit with OLS to the value paid by client for these instances only . Credit is open end credit that has no expiration date and can be utilised in a single booking or spread out across multiple bookings.

Pack in & Pack Out
• we kindly request that the set up space is prepared prior to our arrival , and that it is guest free during the set up process this allows us to work as efficiently as possible
• Please allow OLS 1hour 30minutes minimum pack in time where possible , if your venue provides a shorter time frame for set up please mention this prior to booking to allow us to check if the services required are achievable during the time provided .
• haulage fees may apply for venues that have limited access for an easy pack in eg numerous stairs , no elevator access , time restricted loading bays , far parking access to entrance
* please ensure you advise us of any of these access issues when booking to be quoted accurately this fee covers the excess work during pack in and longer loading process
* as we provide multiple set ups during one day it is crucial we stick to our schedule to ensure we are meeting each clients preferred set up time frames any clients unable to provide access to venue for set up within 15mins of OLS staff arrival will result in their booking being set up after the remaining days bookings have been completed - please note if this means it will be outside of your bookings time frames unfortunately we will proceed with cancelling your booking and notify you of this immediately. To avoid this happening we ask that you are onsite at your designated/agreed set up time and have communicated with your venue staff or those providing event space you require access prior to our arrival, failure to organise access due to miscommunication will not be an acceptable reason for us to be behind in schedule .
•Pack down time frames will be discussed and can not be changed.
latest pack down is 9:30-10pm anything outside of these times that require pack out due to venue restrictions are required to pay $85 additional and are optional if this is discussed prior.
* if any urgent changes are requested a additional fee will be charged , should we need to wait longer then 20 minutes to proceed with pack down client will be charged an additional $50 and then a further $100 fee per 60mins these fees are payable in full while staff are onsite.
Confirmation of Details
• Please ensure you are committed to the details you provide , once we receive your event theme and your package choice we will not make any changes from 24hrs after retainer and or full payment has been made. This allows us to prepare for your event in a timely manner
* any design , prop rental , theme , or guest amount changes and venue location changes requiring urgent updates will be charged a additional fee accordingly.
• residential address or corporate address (for business events) is required for invoice records aswell as contact number / alternative number
Design concept mock ups
- we do not provide design concepts for the overall event styling being provided for bookings under $800+ design concepts are only provided complimentary to bookings $800+ when requested with 2 design changes maximum any further design updates required are charged additionally to cover design fee , and labour costs
- backdrop panels are pre ordered once design has been confirmed by clients you will be charged the full costs of a new backdrop panel should you need this changed.
Booking Agreement
Any payments made by client , states you agree with OLS terms and conditions
RUSH ORDER FEE
last minute bookings that require prep to be done within less then 7 days before event date will be charged a rush order fee this fee starts from $125 and is based on the overall amount of prep required for your particular booking please enquire about your additional fee charges before booking
QUOTES
custom quotes are valid 24hrs , unless stipulated on the quote provided and or alternative options for confirmation have been discussed , by not finalising a quote provided with payment and or declining the quote this will result in a new quote being required . Prices may be subject to change based on various factors since an original quote has been declined we reserve the right to make adjustments to quotes as we see fit.
Emergency cancellation
• we understand occasionally situations out of your control may happen the day of your event , if you require booking cancellation the day of event due to an emergency . The items paid for can be rescheduled , subject to date availability You may only reschedule once. You can only reschedule under the circumstances of a genuine emergency eg accident related to fire, storm , hospitalization , vehicle , or sudden loss of immediate family member or other similar occurrence, orders or acts of military or civil authority, or by national/ state of emergencies, global pandemic shutdown
